it’s been a while again… just came back from the states a few days ago, where we started moving into our new old home. so far the remodeling hasn’t been going all too fast, but it looks nice. gan chose some really nice stuff… the living room is pretty much finished, so is the office. there are still some minor things missing, due to the incompetence of ikea. despite that, i built our new dual core system and network around it - incl. slingbox. nice shit.
mike and stacey stayed with us for 5 days. that was a great time. they - much like me - had airline trouble too and came a day late. for my part, i hat to fucking spend a night at toronto international. still need to write out my complaint letter to air canada. asshats. anyways - we went to see the gorilla biscuits show at the triple rock, which was an awesome experience. i’ll post my feature that i am writing for 30music.com here later.
also, had a job interview with a big storage device company. i am excited about that and really hope it’ll work out as a gateway to the working world…
what else? have been stalling on my thesis for 3 weeks now - re-starting at FULL force tomorrow. janine & jimmy (as well as kayla actually) didn’t make it much easier with blue screening et al on me on various occasions. speaking of school: the girl started german classes now. preeeetty cool - I’m excited about that. what else is on my agenda? need to switch phone plans again - and work the thesis. that’s pretty much it. if anyone can point me a way to some easy windows macro programming sources - would be greatly appreciated. probably i’ll meet with wolfgang sometime soon, as he is back from l.a. too now. he snatched himself up a cali chick and seems to be pretty excited about being with her. we might just both end up working across the pond, not too long from now. that would be awesome! also, i need to meet with niko & fatih to practice, as we are definitely on the “rock im sixpack” bill on oct. 6th now. oh yeah - i also got myself a yamaha md4s and a new guitar for the states…
the one thing that really worries me at the moment is tha bugster, as he has some kind of medigal issue currently. had to go to the emergency clinic today and is on morphine at the moment. poor lil fella. hang in there - daddy will be back soon!
