alright - i had one of those moments again, that back in the day turned me vegetarian and later vegan. i have no real words that can describe the footage i just got confronted with. it is not actually about meat per se, but fur farm footage, seemingly from somewhere in asia. yes, it is fucking cruel, yes, i have seen a lot of animal rights footage, and this is probably the worst i have yet to see - still… people need to see the truth. this has nothing to do with faces-of-death-esque “oooh how scary, gross and creepy” sensationalism, this is what people in our society are responsible for. they pay people to commit atrocities like these. i am not going to mention too much of what happens in the video. here is the url. http://tinyurl.com/4mouj
which brings me to an idea:
- why not have everyone buying fur watch half an hour of this footage before they are being accepted as supporters of organized crime against nature?
- why not make it mandatory to have anyone buying meat watch the sequence where his meat was murdered, bled to death,…?
how many of them would still be able to look in the mirror after still supporting this without having any excuse that “i didnt know it was THAT bad”. i hate those holocaust comparisons, and i really dont want to propagate them myself, but coming from where i am, this highly reminds me of wwII and the people who lived around concentration camps “not knowing anything” about what was going on just feet from them.
create consciousness, spread knowledge. if people dont know, they wont reason, they wont change. hell - i had to take the step myself way back when and reach out for additional info, which pretty much made it impossible for me to keep being responsible for death. give others this chance too.
lack of knowledge is the dictators weapon of choice.
