a little update… quite a few news there… back home in the US - still moving into the new apartment. our closest mall is the MOA now. funny. the landlords have been making some trouble so far - maintenance and trust issues don’t make it much fun for renters. anyways - screw them - gan and i are having a good time there. i also need to go over to the storage to haul around some stuff soon.
other than that i took bug caching a few times and found 4 in the MN area. then i almost killed the D70 2 days ago when the tripod collapsed and it landed on a rock - 28-80 first. thank god it only bent the sunpak uv filter… that was one damn lucky incident… the pop up flash even had leaves and dirt stuck in it due to the impact - but even the snow & ice seems to not have done any damage - go nikon! speakig of which: im still dealing with united due to lost/stolen cam equip. suckers.

alright - i am just watching “spiegel tv”. it is about “humane slaughter” in germany. i am so mad and sick i could punch every single piece of shit i am watching here right now. they boast how “humane” the pigs are laughtered there. god fuck you assholes.
just a few things they even showed:
- pigs, injured when they arrive at the slaughterhouse are “emergency slaughtered” - the vet explains that pigs have so much muscle, that their bodies sometimes cant handle the stress and torture (!) of the transports. fuck you.
- then they are divided up into groups of 12-15 - “because they get scared when they are alone and that diminishes the quality of the meat.” fuck you
- then they are pushed around by something that looks like a junk-yard car-press. they are being pushed in a chamber and gassed with co2. now they supposedly are unconscious and “tests prooved that 100% of our pigs are knocked out before being slaughtered now - this didnt use to be like that.” guess what: fuck you
- after that they are being hung by a back leg and go through the “slaughter aisle” where a bunch of piles of waste of human cells - wearing chain-shirts and gloves to not injure themselves (they used to kill themselves by cutting open their own stomachs… bohoo) - cuts the animals throats - THIS is how they actually die - bleed to death. fuck you.
- then they are pushed into almost boiling hot water to get the hair off their bodies. then they will be pushed through these machines that toss around their bodies until the skin is bare- eventually they go through 2 minutes of flames. fuck you.
- and eventually get cut up - by an army of white murderers at a conveyor belt. fuck you.
all this goes on without any human interaction - except the killing and cutting up. i am stick to the stomach. and the whole time some smart ass supervisors and “scientists” (call them fascists) talk about how hygene and humanity are so important to them. whatever. you guys are fucking sick. where are your morals? ethics? do you have family? i don’t ever want to see one of these people face to face. they make me sick.
every german eats 80 pounds of beef a year. most of the body parts are used up in the process. the leftovers are made into gummi bears. and the feet are sent to asia to be ground up.
a little word to all you meat eaters out there: call me intolerant, call me close minded - i don’t give a shit.
