alright - i am getting reeeeeally frustrated here… i dug up the “america now vol.2″ promo sampler (full version here)that i got from rocktiger fritz about 7 years ago. on there i heard the clockwise “she was” song again - this is one of the fucking BEST old school songs ever - there also is a video of them on that sampler showing them with straight edge tattoos. so WHY THE HELL is it SO HARD to track this band down and find one of their releases? i need to get some more of their shit… all i could find on various file sharing platforms was “stupid girl song” which rocks as well… so… i really would like to buy one of their albums. seems like there is another band called “clockwise” around that makes more shitty music… no, i am looking for the mid 90s hardcore clockwise. vinyl, cd, tape - i’ll take anything!

alright… finally yesterday i got my own car, which should decrease the amount of fighting in this house drastically (so i hope at least) - it looks really funny and will cause me quite a few laughing fits whenever ill try to get somewhere in the near future, but with a milage of 50 miles per gallon of diesel and cheap insurance, it really serves its purpose perfectly. and nevertheless it has a lot of storage space for such a little sucker…

ok - after the first month with the jimmy eat world “futures” album i have to say i absolutely love this pretty work of music. despite my initial scepticism and despite my real disappointment after having heard the 3 teaser tracks. check out “work” (see lyrics above), “kill”, “polaris”, “futures” and “jenny” if you get the chance to. the rest of the record is pretty fucking sweet as well… i think it has been officially released by now.
anyways… so much happened lately. in the states we went to the ren fest a week before i had to go back. it was funner than i expected - people really made the effort to give it a special feel. i just with i would’ve had my cam already then. i liked bill the juggler (NO, not cos i had to go on stage with him!) and “the london broil” best i think. in the beginning it was a little intimitading, since this pregnant fairy kept following me, smiling at me and not saying a word. talk about creepy. that’s also the only place that i know, where chicks actually whistle after guys and i get yelled “eye candy” after… usually it’s the other way around. well - not ME per se - other guys i mean.
then we also went to the state fair, which was fun, but since we didn’t go on any rides, it wasn’t THAT exciting after all. i nice change though. and i saw tommy rehbein again. he didn’t recognize me. but considering i cant usually hold a crudge against people for very long, i am still pretty pissed at him.
the flight back was pretty ok then. i got my own 2 seats and yummy vegan food, plus my own “in seat” entertainment center - so that was alright. but still - flying this way always sucks exceptionally bad - no matter how comfy they make the flight. i just miss meg. in o’hare the security personnel had a broomstick up their ass and they were real fuckheads ths time - you would think that a frequent flyer id should give you at least SOME kind of at least NORMAL treatment… not so in chicago. in frankfurt then they said bug was too heavy to fly… right - this is a fucking connection flight and my last segment for this trip - plus the limit has always been 8 kg, not 5. so the gay agent eventually believed me after i showed him that shit in writing. morons… i wonder how many people threaten to hit them after having been en route to their destination for 15 hours already. on the last flight i met a pretty nice chick from casablanca who has been living in linz for like 8 years or so. she was a bit strange, but compared to who i had to fly with before a nice change.
back in austria i can summarize the first 2 weeks by “my dad is absolutely insane”. i dont wanna get into this any deeper than i have to, but no one even remotely can imagine the amount of bitching he is pulling off here. resulting in me having to cover all my expenses, including family phone and my food as well as gas - which never was an issue before. i also have to get my own car now. they BOTH have to use a car every day, and that even though my dad works a good mile from here and its over 20 miles for me. so ill check out a vw golf tomorrow which i might just buy.
also i already started school 2 weeks ago. accounting - it sucks, so im not gonna get my thoughts on that topic more than i have to. finally i also had a job interview with webcluser/ventigo. it seems like a super nice company with many gruntled ex-abm people who got screwed over just like feregyhazy & co tried it with me and as a result pulled off their own company. if it all works out like i hope it will, it should all be a great thing coming together. *fingers crossed*.
raphaela - the chick who i talked to by email in january about drumming - contacted me - i met her, she gave me a cd of her - well… ok - band and i suppose ill try out for them. also she said that the advertising agency she is with is looking for a web developer at the moment - so i may just check how its there as well - though i AM hoping for the ventigo position.
alright… this weekebd should be somewhat busy. tomorrow meeting with ralph and his dad about the website for his old man, then i’ll check out the car, then i’ll meet up with martin - who broke up with johanna and cant do anything tonite due to a hangover. and eventually i finally wanna finish up with 30music. it looks like a neat new concept and i really like the mp3 handling system i put together. alright. i gotta take off… i need to puck up georg from the train stationin 20 minutes. he just called me today that he is back from croatia and back in town for the weekend.

alright… writing once again: what happened…
got my comicxposure delivery finally - after some calls and stuff - incl. some extra goodies - so that’s nice, though still annoying.
sunday last week i was at the dm mansion - we worked out the layout for the new site and i jammed a little with mike - so that was fun… then i pretty much worked on the page for most of last week - the result is here: dyingmidwestern.com.
thursday i think, we went over to nicky’s place. i actually finally got to know her better - shes a fun chick and i hope meg and her are gonna get closer - as it looks right now… we were supposed to watch 2 movies (the prince and me: C-, Godsend: D-) but ended up talking until midnight. she also gave me a photo book, which is coolissimo.
then we went to the ren fest on saturday, which was pretty much like i expected it. a different experience and actually quite some fun - except all the carnivorous action going on. puke and snot sucked, but the london broil and bill the juggler were quite entertaining. i know i would have been so fucked if i had grown up back then - individualism didn’t seem to be the safest thing.
also last week we went to ikea with meg’s dad. funny how all ikeas seem to be generally the same - same setup, same names, same stuff - just the prices differ (and more so within europe it seems according to the latest news…)
yesterday we stopped in at the state fair - so many occasions to finally try out my cam… and it’s not here… speaking of which: i finally got my kit lens, for a whopping 275 incl. a filter, extra cap, hood and 72mm step up ring - incl. s&h. how awesome is that. in mint condition - thanks to mike of mike’s bodybuilding. cos of the 203 bucks i got screwed over with i filed a claim with visa, had the fuckheads hotmail account terminated, am still trying to get a call back from the network admin of his school and handed all that shit over to the police who is taking care of it now. i hope for news anytime now.
speaking of news… i need to head back to mf europe. i SO don’t want to. i am already looking forward to xmas when i can be back. i feel like i belong more here than there by now. bummer (oh how i HATE that word…)
tomorrow i gotta stop in to hollywood video to get darin my dead@17 tpb - luke, who showed me his pretty awesome traditional tattoos yesterday - wants to have a look at it too… these crazy kids are actually thinking about putting out an own comic. maybe i should try to hook them up with viper - after i get the first print. as promised.
yesterday i actually met up with kyle and bean, and 30music will receive another facelift now, which will be interesting due to a few new features - which i hopefully will be able to set up this week still. also eric ufb finally wrote back in his really nice way. these guys are just too cool. i might be able to do the new dead girls website too… but shhhhh….
